You guys have probably seen this already (I am bored at work and just noticed all this) but some sites have started reporting that the next major patch is going to have a couple of interesting additions - a special bank for gear so it does not clog up your own bank and the ability to change the appearance of your gear, so you can make your brand new tier 12 look like tier 1.

I can see a definite benefit from the expanded bank slot, as long as it can deal with all the tabards and holiday event-related gear I have ... you never know when you might need those lederhosen ...

As far as the other is concerned, you could give someone a real shock in PVP by making all your epic PVP gear look like blues or greens and wait to be attacked.

The other interesting thing are the rumours about the next expansion. Seems Bliz have protected the name "Mists of Pandaria" so we may have Pandern next expansion. Not sure how they are going to deal with the issue of which faction gets them ... unless they are somehow cross faction.

I suppose the big question now is, who's farming what?

I'm pretty sure my druid doesn't have Terrestrian's Tanglestaff from Karazhan...

One possible benefit: I've never liked the fact you have a class like the death knight, which is so linked to its sword, and yet you keep going through different weapons instead of somehow upgrading the one you have. This sounds like it will enable me to get around that problem.

Well, yes, but the problem with Transmogriphication for Druids is this:

(thanks to WowInsider for that)

I also liked these from the Daily Blink:

I would seriously like to go back and get some gear from previous Tiers though ... and a lot of it should be soloable now shouldn't it?

You still need to be in a raid to get it.

True, but invite one other person, anywhere, convert to raid, enter instance and you are away. The other "raid" member can then leave party and go about his business.

... You don't say?

(There is no raised eyebrow smiley.)

Although the set I probably want the most is the paladin tier 2, which is in BWL, which I guess is at least a 2-man job. Still, now I need to have a think about that.
