Post subject: For the Horde, no for the Alliance, no for the Horde ...
PostPosted: Mon May 09, 2011 11:43 am
Hi, just by way of an FYI and apology I have faction swapped all over again. Mid-life crisis, post Cata blues, stupid inability to make my mind up, grass-is-always-greenerism, a desire to boost Blizz's profits even higher ... could be any of those.

Essentially, I have a thing about the fact that Arawn started as a Belf and will always feel like one and Alesh started as a Nelf and feels odd as a Tauren. Problem is, for convenience I want them on the same faction.

So, Arawn is back as his sniffy, arrogant and slightly cruel self ... and Alesh is now Tauren again. Alesh is currently called Tuari. Just to confuse matters I may try Alesh out as a Troll as that might be closer to his Nelfy self in some ways ... if I can get over the idea of Troll Druids and day-glo bears.

All very silly but if anyone is looking for the Vial of the Sands ( Skolir?) it is now available on the Hordie side.

Welcome back to the horde side!

I've been there as well, my priest , warlock, hunter all started out as horde, but moved over to alliance side, but the urge to come back to horde was always there

Oh no, I will miss having you around on Alliance side. RIP Alliance Alesh / Arawn. I will see you around if I ever play Gaohe, my goblin hunter. Or if I ever do a race-change but then I would have to do that with all my characters since they form an intricate network of professions, quirks and odors. Too pricey I think.

Hope all goes well with the faction change...You will be missed on the Alliance side.

Safe travels....

Thanks Naohe and Zookni! I will miss both of you too. I still have quite a few characters on the Alliance side so I will be back. I am ashamed to say that I am getting quite fond of my (cliche incoming) Worgen DK so I will be playing him again for certain.

Actually Alesh is probably not going to feel right as a cow Druid and as for luminescent green bears .... though I am going to give that a go. So, I will probably take Alesh back eventually. It is just that like with Naohe's characters Alesh and Arawn professions have become a bit dependent on each.

That was meant to say that their professions had become dependent on each other.

I am blaming those typos on trying to do this on an iPhone. :)

I wasn't going to say anything, but since you're wondering why this keeps happening to you, it's because the Bronze Dragonflight keeps sending me back in time to prevent Infinite Dragonflight meddling. We never manage to fix things exactly right and you happen to be an unusually unstable probability node, so...

Hah, that certainly explains a lot ... I think I'm going to blame them for my typos too!

Nice to see you on the hordie side for a change Arawn, since that's how I remember you originally. :)

As for the flipping back and forth, it happens with more people than you think :).

I might just have to start gathering Vial of Sands stuff for ol' Brambs!
