Greetings, fellow Elders.
I, Thuunkas Stormwalker, newly come to the Elders, would like to invite you all to a small friendly gathering.
A fishing trip !
What could be more pleasant than this ?
An evening spent amongst friends, occasionally throwing a line (or, indeed, a small package of explosives) into the nearby softly rippling waters, enjoying the heat of a campfire, perhaps sharing some fine food and drinks provided by myself, and a tale or two...

Should any care to join me, may I suggest a time of Nine in the evening, this coming Saturday, the location to be decided shortly.

Looking forward to meeting you,
Thuunkas.

I'm afraid my little trip will be now later than I had planned, probably closer to Eleven in the evening.
Also, I thought Bloodhoof Village, in Mulgore would be a nice spot...
The fishing's good, and I've arranged a discount with the innkeeper for any Elders who might want to stay overnight in some comfort.

Alrighty Thuunkas, thank you for letting us know. I for one will grab my fishing pole and be there! It sounds like a lovely way to spend the evening.

I'd just like to thank Brambline and Schamay for the most pleasant company and indeed for indulging an old Tauren in his ramblings and efforts to teach how to fish well...

It was a most pleasant time indeed, and my only regret is that more could not have joined us, especially Pancras, who sadly arrived just as we were retiring for the night.

Perhaps next time a few more will make it, although I admit a smaller gathering is easier for many reasons - keeping track of conversations, keeping everyone fed, happy and involved, etc...

I'm sorry I couldn't attend. I had my fishing hat and rod at the ready when I got an urgent message to come research the movements of the elements last night. If I'm ever going to get one of the positions at Grommash Hold in the Valley of Wisdom I better keep up my studies. Anyway I hope you had a good time. I'll have a go at fishing next time around hopefully.
