Ok as was said in the BIG lotro thread http://www.the-elders.guildomatic.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=268 , a few of us maybe meeting up on a regular basis to do the huge quest chain that runs throughout LOTRO. In fact is the backbone of the game and runs parallel to the books.

I have had another idea that could benefit this group and hopefully bring in a few more of you from WoW from time to time.

We could hold RP nights, these could be in a number of places.
The Prancing Pony, it has a number of quiet rooms.
The Party Tree in The Shire, it is just below Bilbo's and Frodo's home north of Hobbiton.
Thorins Gate, huge dwarven citadel, and a very nice tavern. Just beware of the leaks.
Could even hold an RP night when we manage to gain our Kinship House.

Fun events. there are quite a few funny quests that could be turned into kinship events. I know of two in The Shire.
One is where you have to re-establish the Shire's mail network, be delivering mail to all the towns in the shire.

but.....

you have to avoid getting wet and the nosey hobbits.

Another is you have to deliver pies throught the Shire. Again you can not get we, and this time you have to avoid those hungry hobbits.

We could also hold deeds n virtues events/ nights where we help each other grind out those deeds.

These are just a few ideas on what we could do in LOTRO.

Sounds like a lot of fun! These are exactly the kinds of things that I'd like to do in LOTRO (versus levelling)! Please do let us know when you guys organize something like this, I'll be sure to come!

Does LOTRO have something like flight paths that need to be discovered before you can use them? Or are there any other preparations very low level characters should make to be able to move around to the places you mentioned?

The horse stables work as the fp in wow. Some need to be discovered some you will have by default. Which you'll need for the different places I couldn't say. Hobbiton-Bywater is not far from Michel Delving which should be a default point. Bree I'm sure you have already. I think Thorin's Hall should be a default one too.

I suggest that we move our weekly meetings to wednesday say around 19.00? That would work better both for me and Damkina.
