Post subject: In-Guild Dungeoneering POLL: Time and Day
PostPosted: Tue Jan 12, 2010 4:16 pm
This poll is an extension of THIS THREAD.

Remember to also vote in THIS POLL.

Let's see which night suits us the best for having a weekly raid night.

The most popular choice can be for horde, the second most popular one on a different day, for alliance (since there is less activity on ally side).

The two time spans have been chosen on the basis that about half our members have kids and need to get them in bed, so the times can't be too early.

The times are game time.

Hi

I would love to do dungeons (don't think I am geared for raids) with the guild but it would have to be 22:30 or 23:00 at the earliest for me.

I'm afraid I had to respond with being fine with everything, since none of these times will be possible once the computer is fixed and my husband will start playing again (he refuses to while the machine bluescreens :P). He has evenings for himself, and I will play during the daytime, as usual. But hopefully I'll manage to get along to some of them once in a while! And who knows, maybe we'll have a second computer some day! :)

At the moment any day after 22:00 will be OK by me - this is however subject to change as the spawn grows into some more regular sleeping patterns......then the wife will probably demand attention on some evenings

Edit: Checked the appropriate option

Arawn, I've added two options to the end of the poll. So if you don't have a preference for which day, you can mark the more preferable clock time now.

As for dungeoning, most likely a lot of the time we won't be able to gather enough people to do a raid anyhow so my guess is that a lot of the time we'll end up just doing a dungeon run. And with the new random dungeon option it's really easy to start doing guild runs now since we can just gather whoever is online and add random people automatically if there are not enough guildies.

I checked the "The day is not important to me, but between 20-22" option, because I have to get up for work very early during the week. On Fridays and Saturdays a later time would work for me, too. Not that I'm anywhere near raiding material.

At the moment I did not do any raid (done lots of dungeon) I dont have any clue how it is and what requirement needed for it but I really wonder. Anyway I checked the '' I m fined with anything '' so I would glad to be in any of them with guild:) .

I was sitting here thinking I'm sure I've not read this post before...then realised its Jan 2010, it took me a while though... hehe

Definately interested though, so I've ticked away!

I've ticked any, but I do sometimes work away a couple of days in the week. (I've had a lucky month of being at home)

Evening Elders

Like most it seems, I'm happy with pretty much any night - I fall into the 'with kids' category, so once Braemar Jnr is in bed, 21.30 after stories, I should be fit for most activities.

Raiding is out for me just now - given that Brae's about lvl 51 (shame as I do like Kara) but more than happy to join a group on a lower lvl dungeon run, etc as needed

Edit: as a side topic, I see my wee signature thingys are now well out lvl wise, any tips on how to get these to update?

20:00 - 22:00 (Server Time) is perfect for me just Monday & Tuesday & Thursday though. (Fridays on rare occasions).

Pryderic is only level 51 at the moment so a long way to go till I'm upto raiding level but available during those times for the forseeable future.

Hey Zooks.

I've had a look at Siglaunch, and besides looking cool and all it doesn't say which line to put into your signature.

Which do you use? The straight URL, the BBcode, HTML or the guild launch sig?

I've tried them all, and when I preview the sig nothing but the text shows up. :?

Normally I would go with the HTML-version, but I'm not familiar with how the basics of this forum works so it might be something else.

Hi..Twas I who led the Zooks to Siglaunch and left her there while I was bribed by Magelo's shinyness!

If I remember you need to use the BB option but siglaunch has a nasty habit of not displaying sometimes. You have to keep hitting 'Preview my Sig' and then 'Save my Sig' until you see a string of numbers like this in the code
4/0/8/4/7/85647(usually halfway in)

When you've previewed/saved a few times and got the proper code, copy paste into your signature box via this forum
Need to put<>before and after the code ie.

<Your Signature code>

And check you havn't got BB code disabled!
Its in the options box under every blank text box you start writing
